A wide range of charities provide support and care for the Armed Forces community.

Veterans' Gateway. The first point of contact for veterans seeking support.

Royal British Legion: Shoulder to Shoulder with all who Serve.

SSAFA: Lifelong support for our Forces and their families.

Veterans UK: Bringing together services for veterans.

Civvy Street: Information and resources to help you make the transition from the armed forces to civilian life.

Help for Heroes: Practical, direct support for our wounded.

Benevolent Fund (ABF): The Soldiers' Charity: Lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families.

Combat Stress: Veterans mental health charity.

BLESMA: A national charity that directly supports Service men and women who have lost limbs and the use of limbs or the loss of eyesight.

Blind Veterans UK: Life beyond sight loss.

Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI): Provides treatment, training and support to the Armed Forces community.

Future for Heroes: A Kent based charity providing help for veterans of all ages and service backgrounds who are in crisis situations.

West Kent College: Partner with local employers, Job Centre Plus and Work Programme providers such as the RBLI and Avanta to deliver employment and pre-employment training and qualifications.

Kent Adult Education: There are Adult Education Centres in all twelve Kent districts offering a range of courses.
