Pay by Direct Debit
You can use this service to set up a new Direct Debit or to update the details of an existing Direct Debit.

Before you start
To set up a Direct Debit online you will need:
- your bank account details (account number and sort code)
- your nine digit Council Tax account number
You can pay over 10 or 12 monthly instalments, pay the full amount in one go or pay half yearly.
You can also choose to make your payments on either the 1st or the 15th of each month.
Change your Direct Debit
If you need to change your Direct Debit details, simply complete our online form and we will confirm the changes at least 10 working days in advance of your account being debited.
Please note if a payment has already been requested from your bank or building society before this form is completed you will need to cancel your original Direct Debit agreement with your bank.
Where an instalment is due in less than 10 working days the instalment will be added to your first Direct Debit instalment unless payment is made by another means.
