About the Awards

The Love Where We Live Awards celebrate the people who make the borough of Tunbridge Wells a great place to live and work. They recognise the individuals, groups, businesses, and organisations who are dedicated to helping others in the community, benefiting the environment, or accomplishing personal goals.

This year we have made the awards bigger than ever, there are nine categories open for nomination, including two new categories; Green Household and Good Neighbour, as well as some familiar ones; Charity of the Year, Community Group and Volunteer of the Year (although a few have a new name!).

For younger members of the community, we have the Young Sports Achiever of the Year award for those 16 and under, and Young Volunteer of the Year award for those aged 24 and under. The winner of the tenth award, the Love Where We Live Award, is chosen by a panel of judges as an overall winner from the other nine categories.
