Parking charges at Dunorlan Park
Parking charges are being introduced at Dunorlan Park, Tunbridge Wells from 16 October 2023.
Charges starting at £1 for one hour will apply in both the Pembury Road car park and Halls Hole Road car park between 8am and 6pm every day including bank holidays.
Blue Badge holders can park free of charge in designated spaces – please always display your Blue Badge if you park in one of these spaces.
Car park users will be able to pay for parking by card at the machines in the car parks or by phone using the RingGo app. Cash payments will not be accepted.
One of the Borough Partnership’s priorities is to safeguard finances and the parking charges are being introduced at a time when there is great pressure on the council’s finances. Each year it costs around £175,000 to maintain Dunorlan and these costs are expected to continue to rise because of inflation. Income from parking charges will directly support the park.
