Nominations

Nominations for Borough and Parish elections

The Notice of Election will be published on Monday 21 March 2022, which means we will accept nominations from midday on Monday 21 March during the hours stated on the Notice.

Completed nomination forms must be delivered to the following address and not to the Tunbridge Wells Gateway:

Elections Office
Room 108
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council
Town Hall
Mount Pleasant Road
Tunbridge Wells
Kent, TN1 1RS

You must ensure that you book an appointment with the elections team to submit your nomination papers. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that nominations can be submitted by courier if necessary. Should you choose to use this option it is ultimately your responsibility that they reach us.

Prior to officially submitting nomination papers we would encourage you to send them to us by email for an informal check to nominations@tunbridgewells.gov.uk. This will reduce the need for candidates and agents to take their nomination papers away with them if they are not correct when formally submitting to amend them.

If you require paper copies of these packs, please let us know and we can print and post them to you.

Briefing sessions

Briefings for anyone interested in standing as a candidate and for election agents are being held on Tuesday 8 March at 6pm and Wednesday 9 March at 6pm.  Sessions will be held via MS Teams, a link for which can be requested by emailing elections@tunbridgewells.gov.uk or by phoning 01892 554024.
