Forms of nomination for the Parish Election may be obtained from Clerk to Parish Council or Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS from the Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS on any working day after the date of this notice between 10am and 4pm but no later than 4pm on Friday 3 July 2026.
If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 30 July 2026.
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 14 July 2026. Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS by 5pm on Wednesday 15 July 2026. Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 22 July 2026. Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate
New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS by 5pm on Wednesday 22 July 2026. Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS by 5pm on Thursday 30 July 2026. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Wednesday 22 July 2026. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Wednesday, 22 July 2026
