Nominations
The Notice of Election for the Borough Council by-elections was published on Thursday 20 March 2025. We will accept nominations from 10am on Friday 21 March 2025 during the hours stated on the Notice.
Completed nomination forms must be delivered to the following address (not to The Amelia Scott in Tunbridge Wells):

You must book an appointment with the Elections team to submit your nomination papers. Nominations can be submitted by courier, if necessary, but if you choose to use this option, it is your responsibility to ensure that your papers reach us.
Candidates and election agents can contact the Elections team to book an appointment to submit nomination papers. Appointments can be made by email to nominations@tunbridgewells.gov.uk or by calling 01892 554024 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
We would strongly encourage candidates and agents to submit their nomination papers for an informal check before submitting them. Nomination papers can be emailed to nominations@tunbridgewells.gov.uk for an informal check.

Postal votes
Postal vote packs are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class. We cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of your postal vote pack once we have dispatched it.
If you apply for a postal vote before Wednesday 2 April, your postal vote pack will be dispatched around Wednesday 16 April.
If you apply for a postal vote on or after Wednesday 2 April, your postal vote pack will be dispatched around Tuesday 22 April.
