About the election
The election of councillors to Kent County Council (KCC) will take place on Thursday 1 May 2025.
KCC is led by 81 democratically elected councillors, also known as members. Councillors represent people within their electoral division and develop County Council policy.
The Tunbridge Wells Borough Council area is made up of six KCC electoral divisions. They are:
- Cranbrook
- Tunbridge Wells East
- Tunbridge Wells North
- Tunbridge Wells Rural
- Tunbridge Wells South
- Tunbridge Wells West
Each division has one elected councillor.

Postal vote packs are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class. We cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery of your postal vote pack once we have dispatched it.
If you apply for a postal vote before Wednesday 2 April, your postal vote pack will be dispatched around Wednesday 16 April.
If you apply for a postal vote on or after Wednesday 2 April, your postal vote pack will be dispatched around Tuesday 22 April.
