Nominations
Borough and parish elections
The Notice of Election for both the borough and parish elections were published on Monday 11 March 2024. We will accept nominations from midday on Monday 11 March 2024 during the hours stated on the Notice.
Completed nomination forms must be delivered to the following address (not to The Amelia Scott in Tunbridge Wells):
Elections Office (Room LG31)
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council
Town Hall
Mount Pleasant Road
Tunbridge Wells
Kent TN1 1RS
You must book an appointment with the elections team to submit your nomination papers. Nominations can be submitted by courier, if necessary, but if you choose to use this option, it is your responsibility to ensure that your papers reach us.
Prior to officially submitting nomination papers, we would encourage you to send them to us by email to nominations@tunbridgewells.gov.uk for an informal check. This will reduce the need for candidates and agents to take away and amend their nomination papers if they are not correct when formally submitting them.
Briefing sessions
Briefing sessions were held in February for anyone interested in standing as a candidate (in either the borough or parish elections) and for election agents. There are no further sessions planned.
If you would like a copy of the briefing slides, or a link to a recording of the online briefing session, please email elections@tunbridgewells.gov.uk.
Police and Crime Commissioner briefing sessions
Information about candidates and campaigners briefing sessions for the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) election can be found on the Gravesham Borough Council website (opens in a new window).
