  1. Forms of nomination for Parish Elections may be obtained at Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS from the Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
  2. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Elections Office (Room LG31), Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Town Hall, Mount Pleasant Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS on any day after the date of this notice but no later than 4pm on Friday, 5 April 2024.
  3. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 2 May 2024.
  4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday, 16 April 2024. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote (opens in a new window).
  5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of postal proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS by 5pm on Wednesday, 17 April 2024.
  6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 24 April 2024. Applications can be made online at www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate (opens in a new window).
  7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS by 5pm on Wednesday, 24 April 2024.
  8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1RS by 5pm on Thursday, 2 May 2024. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5pm on Wednesday, 24 April 2024. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5pm on Wednesday, 24 April 2024.
