Report a faulty street light
Use this interactive map to report faults with streetlights across the borough of Tunbridge Wells. Whether it's a flickering bulb, a light that's completely out, or another issue, this tool helps you identify the responsible authority and directs you to the correct reporting method. The map shows all streetlights in the borough, colour-coded by ownership, and provides direct links to report problems.
How to Use This Map
- Find the Streetlight

- or, navigate manually using your mouse or touch screen to zoom and pan around the map.
- Identify the Streetlight
- streetlights are shown as lightbulb icons, colour-coded by ownership:
- Red – Kent County Council (KCC)
- Blue – Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC)
- Green – Privately owned and maintained
- Purple – Town and Country Housing (TCHG)
- Orange – Parish Council
- Click the Icon
- a pop-up will appear showing:
- streetlight reference number
- report an issue link
- Report the Fault
- Tunbridge Wells Borough Council: link opens our online form with the reference number and location pre-filled.
- Parish Council: link creates an email to the relevant parish council.
- KCC or TCHG: link takes you to their official reporting websites.
- Privately Owned: If a streetlight is privately maintained, please contact the property owner or management company responsible for the area, as we cannot provide their details.
