Safety car
We use a mobile CCTV safety car to patrol the following restrictions:
- school keep clear markings
- zig-zags leading to and from a pedestrian crossing
- bus stops
Images of the parking contravention are recorded and a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) is served by post on the vehicle's registered keeper.
We cannot use the safety car to enforce other contraventions, for example, vehicles parked on a yellow line.
