Apply for a resident's parking permit

There are eight resident parking zones run by the Borough Council, six in Tunbridge Wells, one in High Brooms and one in Paddock Wood.

If your address is eligible within one of these zones, you can apply for a permit.

Before you apply please visit the following link to view details of resident permit charges as these vary by zone - resident permit charges.

  • V5C hand written new buyers slip showing permit holder's full name
  • certificate of insurance showing permit holder as policy holder or named driver

Our permit system is virtual, and once you have made a payment, the permit will automatically be issued to you. However, all submitted proof documents are checked, and your permit may be suspended if the proof you supplied as part of your application does not meet the above criteria.
