Regional awards for Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom
In its 15th anniversary year Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom have won fantastic awards across the South and South East in Bloom competition. These regional awards were announced at RHS Wisely (Royal Horticultural Society) on 21 October. The Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom team received the following awards:
- Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom - Gold - Champion of Champions
- Dunorlan Park (large park, 25+ acres/10 hectares) - Gold
- Barnets Wood Local Nature Reserve - Silver Guilt
- Tunbridge Wells Common - Gold and category winner!
- Woodbury Park Cemetery - Gold and category winner!
- Tunbridge Wells Cemetery and Crematorium - Gold
- Calverley Grounds (small park) - Gold
- Grosvenor and Hilbert Park (large park, 25+ acres/10 hectares) - Gold
Additionally in 2025, Royal Tunbridge Wells was awarded a Silver Gilt special award for Gardening with Young People, thanks to the brilliant work of Kasia Olszweska, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s Parks and Technical Officer.
Entrants who consistently win are also entered into a “Champion of Champions” category, and this year Royal Tunbridge Wells was awarded a gold, narrowly beaten by Arundel Castle Gardens.
