Change to Council’s Cabinet
Councillor Christopher Hall has resigned from his post as Cabinet member for Finance and Governance with effect from Monday 18 December 2023.
Councillor Hall will continue to represent the Broadwater ward.
Responsibility for Finance and Governance will now sit with Council Leader Ben Chapelard who said:
‘I would like to thank Chris for his excellent stewardship of the Council’s finances. He has taken significant steps to close the structural financial deficit, as well as providing extra funds to support our neediest residents through the cost of living crisis such as the Community Support Fund. He undertook his role with dedication, sensitivity and skill and was a much-valued Cabinet colleague.’
