The Council has policies and plans for any eventuality and is part of the county-wide response team that includes Public Health England and the NHS.
Prevent the virus spreading
You can help prevent the virus spreading:
- Wash your hands more frequently and for at least 20 seconds
- Use hand sanitiser if soap and water are not available
- Catch it, Bin it, Kill it – cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or sleeve (not your hands), throw the tissue in the bin, then wash your hands
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth if your hands aren’t clean.
