New waste contractor, Urbaser, reunite visitor with lost wedding ring.
Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s new recycling and waste contractor Urbaser helped reunite a visitor to Royal Tunbridge Wells with his lost wedding ring recently.
The man, from London, lost the ring when he was outside Tunbridge Wells Train Station taking items from a car ready to board a train.
The following day he contacted the Council and, describing where he heard the ring go ‘plop’ into a drain, he asked if there was any chance it might be found.
Happy to give it a go and after a bit of mucky work, as the pic shows, the Urbaser team retrieved the ring and were even able to personally return it to the owner, as a member of staff lived not too far away.
