Housing Register re-application FAQs


Yes. All existing applicants will have to re-apply from 1 June 2023. Applicants will then be re-assessed against our new Allocation Scheme.

No. All applicants will be re-assessed against our new Allocation Scheme. There have been some changes to the qualifying local connection and housing need criteria. Some applicants may therefore not qualify to re-join the Housing Register.

Yes. Applicants will need to upload copies of all the documents requested from them to re-assess your application.

Maybe. You will be re-assessed against our new Allocation Scheme and therefore you banding may change.

If you qualify to re-join the Housing Register your priority date will remain the same as long as you re-apply by the 31 August 2023.

Yes. Applicants have the right to request review within 21 days of being notified that they do not qualify to join the Housing Register or because your priority band has changed. You can find more details of your right of review within our Allocation Scheme.

All applications made after 1 June 2023 will be assessed against our new Allocation Scheme.

There will be no properties advertised for bidding for a period of one month between 1 June and 30 June 2023.

If you have been offered a property before 1 June 2023, you will still be assessed for the property you have been offered by the Housing Association.

You will need to re-apply after 1 June 2023. Your application and any changes in your housing circumstances will be assessed against our new Allocation Scheme.
