Report engine idling
We are taking action to improve air quality in the borough by stopping vehicle engine idling. We will be carrying out regular patrols to identify drivers who sit with their engine running and asking them to turn it off.
You can help by completing our online form to tell us about engine idling hotspots. This will help us to direct our patrols to where they can be most effective.
Reports of engine idling on private land may be passed to our Environmental Protection Team for investigation and action.
