Notice of Vacancy in Office of Councillor

Cranbrook, Sissinghurst and Frittenden Ward

Notice is hereby given that, following the resignation of Councillor Nancy Warne, a casual vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Cranbrook, Sissinghurst and Frittenden ward of the Borough of Tunbridge Wells.

To call an election a request must be made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TWO electors for the local government area.

Requests can be sent by email to elections@tunbridgewells.gov.uk

After the required notice has been given to the Returning Officer in accordance with Section 89(1)(b) of the Local Government Act 1972, an election to fill the vacancy will be held within thirty-five days (computed in accordance with Section 243(4) of the above Act).
