Getting around with disabilities
Information about services available to held people with disabilities get around the borough of Tunbridge Wells.
Disabled permit holders park free at all times, in all car parks, provided that a valid Blue Badge is clearly displayed.

The following voluntary organisations may be able to help with transport and getting around.
Compaid Trust
The Kent Karrier is a fully accessible dial-a-ride service which takes its members directly from their door to the nearest town centre. The Kent Karrier service is run by Compaid on behalf of Kent County Council.
Dial 2 Drive
Dial 2 Drive is a community volunteer transport service for people unable to access public transport due to older age, illness or disability living in West Kent. For more information please visit the Dial 2 Drive website
You may be eligible for a free disabled persons bus pass.

Arriva Kent and Sussex
The main bus service operator in the area is Arriva. Arriva are gradually introducing accessible buses on more routes and services. For details, visit the Arriva website or their travel shop in Tunbridge Wells.

The Traveline website provides local and national UK passenger transport information, which can be used for planning a journey by bus, coach or train.
