Tunbridge Wells Borough Council works closely with Locate In Kent and its partners to market and inform investors of development sites and premises in the Tunbridge Wells area.
Locate In Kent is the inward investment agency for Kent and Medway, working in partnership with public and private sector organisations to promote Kent as a business location and to provide a complete service from location sourcing to business aftercare.
In order to further ease your hunt for the right commercial premises for your business, they have developed a web-based searchable property database for you to filter results tailored to your needs. The search results offer you analysis and socio-economic data giving you the ability to tap into an area’s labour force and local skills information, demographics, population, wage levels, housing, infrastructure and educational offering. The intuitive tools and data infographics are highly visual, allowing you to map, chart and graph complex data to make it easy to use and search through the hundreds of properties we have available.

Royal Tunbridge Wells
The Town Hall in Royal Tunbridge Wells is being repurposed as a giant refreshed coworking hub, which will open in 2023. Further details can be found on the Council's website.
Shared workspace is currently available to rent from The House on Monson Road in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The House provides affordable commercial space for small businesses, freelancers and start-ups working in creative industries. The building has been fully refurbished as a joint project with the borough council, the county council and Workspace Collaborations, a local business. The House offers 50 desk spaces and 20 co-working (hot desk) positions as well as a number of shared spaces.
Other options are available in the town such as The Hive Hub Pantiles, Office Tribe, The Pantiles Chambers and Easistore in the High Brooms area.
The wider borough
In Cranbrook, there is an existing Hive Hub offering business studios, lounges, booths, breakout and meeting rooms.
The Kent and Medway Growth Hub also details a directory of co-workers and shared commercial space across the borough.
There are two main industrial estates in Royal Tunbridge Wells which provide high quality, modern business premises at affordable prices - High Brooms Industrial Estate and North Farm Industrial Estate. Both are ideally located for easy access to major roads and the railway.
There are also a number of rural industrial estates located throughout the borough of Tunbridge Wells that cater for a variety of both commercial and industrial businesses wishing to locate within the countryside surrounding Royal Tunbridge Wells. These include the Transfesa Industrial Estate at Paddock Wood, Eldon Way in Paddock Wood, Gills Green in Hawkhurst, the Speldhurst Business Park and the Hawkwell Business Estate at Colts Hill.
