Search planning applications
Visit our planning application search website which allows you to:
- search for details of applications and appeals
- view the planning history of each property in the borough
- view all the public details of planning applications including any comments
- comment on planning applications
- set up email notifications to receive details of planning applications in your local area
There is a consultation period on most applications during which you will be able to submit comments ahead of a decision being made.
If you want to find out when a consultation period ends, please:
- search for the planning application
- click on the application and then select the Important Dates tab
- the date will be the latter of the Latest Site Notice Expiry Date or the Latest Advertisement Expiry Date

- All planning applications are only viewable via our online database. If you do not have access to a computer or if you struggle to use a computer you can visit The Amelia Scott.
- Comments made on planning applications will remain in the public domain and can be viewed by other members of the public. If you make a comment, we will not display your e-mail address telephone or fax number.
- Plans or drawings printed from our planning database may not be to scale.
- Copyright Notice - Plans, drawing and material submitted to the council are protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material that is downloaded or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.
- Information contained on this site may be incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a formal Land Charge Search.
- On occasions you may experience problems between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
- Details of pre-applications are not available to view as there is no legislative requirement under the Town & Country Planning Acts to publish these.
