Current Development Plan

The current Development Plan for Tunbridge Wells consists of:

1. Tunbridge Wells Borough Local Plan (consisting of Tunbridge Wells Local Plan 2006 saved policies, Tunbridge Wells Core Strategy 2010 and Tunbridge Wells Site Allocations Local Plan 2016 which should be read in conjunction with each other) (click on relevant boxes below).
2. Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan (KMWLP) 2024 to 2039.
3. ‘Made’ Neighbourhood Development Plans (please see the Neighbourhood Plans webpage for more information).

Relevant policies within all of these will be taken into account in the assessment of planning applications and guiding development.
