Big news for the cyclists of Tunbridge Wells

Two new bike hangars have been installed in Royal Tunbridge Wells Town Centre. Two new secure cycle hangars are now available for use at Crescent Road Car Park (pedestrian entrance off Monson Road) and Lower Walk, The Pantiles.

Parking costs just £1 for up to 12 hours (50p for up to 2 hours) and is accessed through the Hooplr app. Instructions for downloading the app are displayed on each hangar. For a quick guide, watch this video on YouTube. For more information and FAQs, visit the Hooplr website.

Cyclists can also get free minor repairs, safety checks and advice as part of the Big Bike Revival on 15 August at The Amelia Scott. Delivered by Cycling UK & Kent County Council this FREE event is hosted by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council to help get more people cycling short journeys in and around the local area. Open to all , you can turn up on the day but registering is recommended for a guaranteed place.
