Golds galore for Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom
It was a golden year for Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom at the 2024 South and South East in Bloom awards ceremony.
At the event held at RHS Wisley on 20 September the group gathered even more gold awards than last year!
Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom was a Gold medallist and winner of both the Small City category and the Wildlife Gardening Award, and had the honour of receiving the S&SEIB Chairman’s Award.
The town’s parks also received awards:
- Calverley Grounds – Gold (Large Park)
- Dunorlan Park – Gold (Large Park above 25 acres)
- Grosvenor & Hilbert Park – Gold and category winner (Large Park above 25 acres)
And other green spaces in the town were gold medallists too:
- Barnett’s Wood Local Nature Reserve – Gold (Large Conservation Area)
- Tunbridge Wells Common – Gold and category winner (Commons/Open Space)
- Woodbury Park Cemetery – Gold and category winner (Churchyards)
- Tunbridge Wells Cemetery and Crematorium – Gold (Large Cemetery/Crematorium)
Pamela Wilkinson, the Council’s Cabinet Member for Sports, Leisure & Health said: “Well done to Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom in Bloom for another hugely successful year.
