New Economic Development Strategy Consultation

We are pleased to publish our new Economic Development Strategy and we are keen to get your comments and feedback on this document.

In the time since the last strategy was published, national and local economic trends have changed considerably. This proposed new strategy outlines our current work, presents a vision and key areas for focus and includes an Action Plan with details of projects and initiatives for the next three years.

We really want to make sure that the views of local businesses and communities are reflected in the document, and as such, we would be very grateful for your responses.

The consultation asking for your comments and feedback is open until Monday 16 October 2023. At the end of the consultation period, we will consider all the feedback submitted and then work towards the agreement of a finalised Strategy at the end of the year.
