New bus service from Knights Wood
A new bus service, the KW1, will run between Knights Wood and Tonbridge Station from Monday 4 September in the morning and evening peak periods.

The service is being provided through Section 106 funding agreed between the Council and Knights Park developer Dandara through the planning application process.
Planning applications that are approved by the Council’s Planning Committee may have conditions attached to them which require developers to put aside sums of money for investment in the local community. Called Section 106 funds they are held by the borough council and can only be used for the purpose listed in the planning approval.
We hope that the service will be of great benefit for residents that commute from the area via Tonbridge Station and students that attend schools in Tonbridge.
