Britain in Bloom 2023
Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom is a finalist in Britain in Bloom.
Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom which is supported by the Council has been named as a finalist in this year’s 2023 RHS Britain in Bloom national competition.
There are 44 finalists competing in 10 categories and Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom is competing in the small city category.
Council Cabinet member for Leisure, Wellbeing and Culture, Councillor Wendy Fitzsimmons said: ‘This is great news and I couldn’t be more pleased for Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom. To make the national finals is quite an achievement, and just reward for the hard work of the volunteers who work tirelessly around the town and in our parks and open spaces.’
The finalists will be visited by a pair of Britain in Bloom judges in summer 2023, and winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in the autumn.
Royal Tunbridge Wells in Bloom reached the national finals on two previous occasions, in 2012 achieving a silver medal and in 2019 when a gold medal was awarded.
