Fusion Lifestyle announces £800k redevelopment work

Work to upgrade the gym and spin equipment at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre and The Weald Sports Centre, and gym equipment at Putlands Sport and Leisure Centre will commence next month.

The redevelopment project will see an investment of over £800,000 and will see improvements to the equipment at all three leisure centres.

The first work will be revealed on 2 April 2022 when upgraded spin bikes will be in use at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre and The Weald Sports Centre. Upgrades to the bikes and studio at Putlands Sport and Leisure Centre will be ready for use from 9 April 2022.

This will be followed by gym equipment upgrades at all three centres in July and August. This will include new Life Fitness cardiovascular machines, fixed weight resistance machines, free weights and functional training equipment at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre and The Weald Sports Centre and upgrades to all gym equipment at Putlands Sport and Leisure Centre.

This exciting project will ensure the future of the leisure centres for many more years to come.

Works will be phased to minimise disruption to users and will be completed by the end of the summer.
