Garden waste collections are suspended
Garden waste collections have been suspended from 25 March for the foreseeable future.
Please do not put your garden waste bin out for collection. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The current coronavirus outbreak has seen reduced staffing due to staff having to self isolate. With the pressures likely to increase, garden waste collections are suspended so crews can focus on collecting refuse, recycling, food waste and clinical waste.
Please keep garden waste out of your other bins otherwise they will be considered contaminated and will not be emptied.
Please store any new garden waste in your garden rather than overfilling your garden waste bin as that might mean that it will be too heavy for the crews when the service recommences.
All subscriptions will automatically be extended to cover the duration of the period we are unable to provide the service. To help us keep our support staff free to deal with high priority and emergency contacts please don’t contact us about your subscription. You do not need to do anything; your subscription remains in place and will be automatically extended to cover the suspension period when collections resume.
