Christmas collection day changes 2019

There will be temporary changes to your recycling and refuse collection days over Christmas and New Year.

If your collection day is on a Monday or Tuesday, there will be no changes and your refuse or recycling collection will take place as scheduled.

There will be temporary changes if your collection is on:

Wednesday:

  • Instead of Christmas Day (Wednesday 25 December), your collection will be on Friday 27 December.
  • Instead of New Year’s Day (Wednesday 1 January), your collection will be on Thursday 2 January.

    Normal service will be resumed after that.

Thursday:

  • Instead of Boxing Day (Thursday 26 December), your collection will be on Saturday 28 December
  • Instead of Thursday 2 January, your collection will be on Friday 3 January.

    Normal service will be resumed after that.

Friday:

  • Instead of Friday 27 December, your collection will be on Sunday 29 December.
  • Instead of Friday 3 January, your collection will be on Saturday 4 January.

    Normal service will be resumed after that.
