Polling Station staff training
Polling Station staff training for the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council election will be held in April.
In-person training is mandatory for all new Presiding Officers and Poll Clerks. It is also mandatory for Poll Clerks who have worked for us before, but did not work at the election in May 2025. Those staff not required to attend mandatory in-person training must instead attend an online briefing session.
In-person training dates and times
Training sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Monday 20 April, 6pm to 8pm
- Wednesday 29 April, 11am to 1pm
Each session has a maximum of 30 spaces available.
Location
Training will be held at the Town Hall in Tunbridge Wells.

Online briefing sessions
Staff not required to attend in-person training must attend an online briefing session. Briefing sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Thursday 23 April, 12 noon to 2pm
- Tuesday 28 April, 6pm to 8pm
- Wednesday 29 April, 6pm to 8pm
