Ash Dieback

Kent County Council have produced a plan for managing Chalara Ash Dieback in Kent.

Please note that the Council is unable to conduct site visits to inspect trees for the presence of this disease. If you wish confirmation of the disease, then you should consult a competent tree advisor.

Applications for works to protected trees resulting from this disease will be treated on their merits. Please note that infection with the disease is not necessarily a reason for felling an Ash tree.

You can find out more about Chalara Ash Dieback on the GOV.UK website
