Positive Postcards

A Positive Postcard to boost wellbeing.

Wellbeing is an important aspect of the Council’s help and support for residents during the coronavirus crisis and the latest initiative under this heading is Positive Postcards.

We are encouraging residents, especially younger members of the community, to design and create a Positive Postcard which can then be sent to vulnerable and isolated people with the help of our partners organisations in the borough.

Any design, shape and size
A Positive Postcard can be any design, shape and size, and ideally will include a cheery message, well-wishes or even a joke or two to bring a smile to the face of the recipient. To protect everyone’s privacy no personal information should be included by the sender. Once the postcard(s) are complete they can be sent in an envelope to

How-to-guide
An easy to follow Positive Postcard how-to-guide with some useful tips and design ideas is available on the new TW Social website.

The postcards will be distributed by organisations including Age UK Tunbridge Wells, Town & Country Housing, Kent Youth Hubs and St. Giles Trust.
