Tunbridge Wells Ice Rink

The Tunbridge Wells Ice Rink in the beautiful Calverley Grounds is open from Friday 15 November to Sunday 5 January 2020.

What's on

A firm favourite for the festive period, ice skating in Calverley Grounds offers something for skaters, shoppers and spectators in the run up to Christmas Day and for the week after.

Ice skating

By day or night, visitors can skate in the beautiful splendour of Calverley Grounds’ amphitheatre, decorated with twinkling festive lights.

Sessions run on the hour, every hour, from 11am until 8pm and ticket prices include skate hire.

Parent and Toddler skating

Parent & Toddler Sessions are great fun and provide a safe environment for small children (up to and including 3yrs) to enjoy ice skating. The sessions take place on a smaller ice rink which is next to the main rink.

Parent & Toddler Sessions take place everyday from Saturday 16 November 2019 until Sunday 5 January 2020. Sessions are every hour from 10am to 5pm and last up to 45 minutes.

Bavarian Curling

Bavarian Curling or Eisstockschießen is a very old German winter sport, somewhat similar to curling that anyone can play.

The competitiors are split into two teams and you will take it in turn sliding your Eisstockschießen across the rink trying to get as close as possible to the circular target, or puck. The team who get the closest wins.

Sessions cost £50 and you can have up to 8 people taking part

Live music nights

SKATE Tunbridge Wells and The Forum have once again teamed up with to bring live music to Calverley Grounds.

Live music from  a mix of established Forum favourites, and some young, up and coming artists will be performed every Thursday between 21 November and 19 December.
