NHS Parking Permit

NHS parking permits are issued to certain health workers to carry out their duties in safety within Tunbridge Wells Borough. The permits are not issued to enable holders to conveniently park, but to assist those holders who may be at risk (i.e those who carry drugs) or have to carry bulky equipment. Applications are made on this basis.

Where can I park with my NHS permit?

The NHS permit will allow the holder to park in either the residents permit bays (including “Residents Permit Holders Only” bays : Zone G & C) or the time waiting bays. It cannot be used on yellow lines, loading restrictions, bus stop/stand or a parking bay specified for other use (i.e taxi bay).

How much does a permit cost?

An administration fee of £80 is applicable to new and renewal applications.
