Electric Vehicle Charging Points

Working in partnership with Kent County Council, we have installed two free-to-use fast charging points in Tunbridge Wells. Each point can charge up two cars at the same time.

You will need to be registered with Charge Your Car (CYC) and use cables compatible with a 7kW fast charger to use the charging points, there are no cables provided on site.

The charging points are located in marked bays within:

  • Two bays Great Hall car park - Level 3. Please note only one EV bay is temporarily available for use by members of the public, the other bay is currently reserved for the car club EV vehicle.  (This is due to essential maintenance works being undertaken in Crescent Road car park, necessitating moving the EV car club car to the Great Hall car park). We apologies for any inconveniences caused to EV drivers and thank you for your understanding.
  • One bay at Crescent Road car park - Level 1. A second bay is currently reserved to a Car Club vehicle (for information on how to become a member of the car club visit the Co-Wheels website. (The Crescent Road car park is currently not available for use).

Please note: The bays can only be used for a maximum of four hours and normal parking charges apply.

The locations of these and other units are available on the Charge Your Car website.
