The Kent County Council (Tunbridge Wells Borough) (Prohibition Of Waiting) No.6 Order 2019

This order has been made for a ‘No waiting at any time’ restriction in parts of Civic Way, Dorset Road and Hawkenbury Road

The amendment also introduces a ‘No waiting Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am and 12 noon and between 2pm and 4pm’ restriction in parts of Beech Close and Forest Road.

Statement of reasons

The order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)

A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on the 30 March 2020, the relevant plans and other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at:
