Kent County Council (High Street and Stone Street, Cranbrook) (Tunbridge Wells) (Traffic Restrictions) (Experimental) Order 2019

Proposed changes:

  1. Prevent any vehicle from waiting at any time in the lengths of road specified in part one of the Schedule to this Order.  Exemptions are provided in the Order to enable a vehicle to wait with Police permission or for passengers to board or alight, for enabling work to be carried out in or adjacent to the road, for postal vehicles and for emergency service vehicles.
  2. Provide a goods vehicle loading bay from Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm in those lengths of road specified in part two of the Schedule to this Order
  3. Restrict any vehicle from waiting Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm to one hour with no return within 2 hours in the lengths of road specified in PART THREE of the Schedule to this Order
  4. Provide a disabled persons parking bay in the lengths of road specified in PART FOUR of the Schedule to this Order
  5. Suspend those parts of “The Kent County Council (Various Roads, Cranbrook)(Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Loading and Unloading) Consolidating Order 1997”in so far as they relate to the lengths and sides of road specified in the Schedule to this Order
