Flooding in Tunbridge Wells

19 December 2019

Further rain is forecast across Kent up to and including Saturday and the Met Office have issued yellow weather warnings for rain. If you live in a known flood risk area, please adopt a self-help approach by purchasing sandbags from your local builders merchants, making up a flood kit, and knowing where to turn off your gas and electricity.

If you or your neighbours are in immediate danger of flooding, call the Emergency Services on 999.

If your home is in immediate danger of flooding call us on 01892 554640. Although we do not have a statutory duty to provide sandbags, we will try to support our residents during times of imminent flooding.

You can find more information on what to do in the event of flooding on our flooding in Tunbridge Wells page as well as a short downloadable guide for residents and a guide on how to prepare, respond and recover from surface water.
