Volunteering with Kent High Weald Partnership

The Kent High Weald Partnership manage local nature reserves on behalf of the council. Regular conservation volunteer tasks are available in Grosvenor and Hilbert Park, High Brooms, St James, Sherwood, Showfields, Southborough and Hawkenbury, as well as Matfield and Cranbrook. All tools, training and tea are provided and everyone is welcome. On the Kent Volunteers website you can search volunteer opportunities across Kent, register your interest in volunteering opportunities that interest you and choose to allow organisations who want volunteers to contact you.

Volunteer Centre: IMAGO

The Volunteer Centre in Tunbridge Wells can help you find out more about volunteering opportunities in the borough. They can identify the type of volunteering that would best suit you and find the right opportunity to match your time and availability. They can help access any training you may need, help you to make the most of your volunteering experience and enable you to share your experience with other volunteers.

Volunteering with Involve Kent

Involve Kent are a charity established in 1975 to develop communities. They work to improve health and empower people in the community. They tackle the root causes of ill health, which can include isolation, loneliness and frailty. As they continue to grow and expand their services, they are looking for friendly volunteers to help befriend clients and take part in fun activities, such as coffee mornings, lunch clubs and day trips. All roles are flexible and travel costs and any refreshments/food will be expensed.
