Nominations for Borough and Parish Elections

Nominations for Borough and Parish Elections

The Notice of Election will be published on Friday 27 March 2020, which means we will accept nominations from Monday 30 March during the hours stated on the notice.

Completed nomination forms must be delivered to the following address and not the Gateway:- Elections Office, Room 108, Town Hall, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, Kent, TN1 1RS.

We would advise all potential candidates to make an appointment with the elections team to deliver your papers due to the volume of nomination papers we are expecting.

If you require paper copies of these packs please let us know and we can print them for you however these packs will need to be collected from the Town Hall.

We have organised a candidates and agents briefing on Wednesday 18 March 2020 at 6:00pm in Committee Rooms A and B at the Town Hall, TN1 1RS. The event will explain the nomination process and provide important information about standing for election so would encourage all those wishing to submit nomination forms to attend.

Those wishing to attend should register their interest as soon as possible by emailing elections@tunbridgewells.gov.uk or phoning the elections team on 01892 554 024.

Nomination papers and guidance for party and independent candidates can be found in the Local elections in England page of The Electoral Commission website.
